Mildew removal is critical when considering painting of any kind. Its not enough to rinse or blast it off.
Simply pressure-washing away mildew will result in future spores re-emerging beneath newly-applied coatings. The returning mildew, trapped beneath the primer or chalk sealer, will destroy the adhesion of topcoat(s) and result in paint failure every time!
